I wouldn't say it's all talk -it's a prototype. That said, it's no where near ready for release, if ever, so if you want supplemental fueling def go with either single shotgun upgrade, TBI, port injection, or some combo. If/when we get close I'll def make tons of posts about it.

Quick bump.

Stock Update:
-OEM/Stage 1 estimated wait time is currently approx. 4 weeks
-GC's in stock and shipping same/next day, but stock is getting low
-All silicone in stock and shipping
-Look for an announcement on GC Lite's coming very soon.

Nizpro Initial Impression:
Our turbos finally made it to Australia, and Nizpro is going to be putting them through their paces. We got this very nice email from Simon, their Director. We're very proud of the GC's and we sincerely appreciate the kind words!

Part 2 of the DI only testing.....

With all the interest in DI only for the N54 lately we went back to work on a control scheme Tony had been thinking about for a while now. He finally got it up and running today.

The control system we're currently developing allows full control of the secondary HPFP (stock location) with the shotgun double barrel set up as the primary pump. This means the belt driven pump is doing all the work during normal driving, cruise, etc, when you want more fuel for big boost the controller simply turns the pump on to supply that needed fuel based on your Boost / RPM table, bring fuel in as slowly or as quickly as you want.

This also means if you go into a misfire and DI cuts fuel, all fuel is cut, even though the second pump does not see the DI cut, the extra fuel is only being supplied to the rail, once the injector is shut down no more fuel will be injected into the cylinder. This solves all the current concerns with PI caused engine failures, backfires etc. We will of course do more testing on the dyno and the street before we release this into the wild, but it does mean we made a very large step forward today.

Check the vid below.

Attached are a few logs and charts you all may find interesting. Please keep in mind this is preliminary testing -not pushing too hard as we feel things out and make adjustments. This is hot off the dyno test results.

Attachment 1: First is the single barrel working at about 550 whp
Attachment 2: DI controller at 550 whp
Attachment 3: 21 psi dyno
Attachment 4: single barrel at 575 whp
Attachment 5: DI controller at 575 whp look at the trims!
Attachment 6: 23 psi dyno
Attachment 7: single barrel at 590 whp
Attachment 8: DI controller at 590 whp again, look at those trims!
Attachment 9: 590 vs 550 dyno

I'm not sure if you have posted this as a separate thread, but it deserves it based on the recent concerns regarding PI...

Thanks guys -happy we're making progress. I agree it's a good step forward. When it gets further along we'll absolutely make a dedicated thread here.
