Why not just put vacuum directly to the gates and take it for a quick spin with mhd showing you boost, see if boost comes up that way. Just let off don't run it out or anything but seems like a quick way to test a couple things directly and easily.

I don't notice anything different about the breaks. But on that hard brake line(I believe that is what it is) above the oil housing gasket when I pull it off after the car is running I don't hear a "whoosh" sound from it. I also just stuck a vacuum gauge on some lines and all read at 0.

Had it checked today for leaks and nothing showed up. So that is what probably pointed to vacuum pump being no good. I hooked up the vacuum gauge to the line from the top of the canister and also a line from the boost solenoid and read 0 in both locations

Bad pump or majorly bad/cracked/missing lines from the pump/canister (the canisters are prone to fail so you should test vacuum at the canister inlet vacuum line too). Without vacuum the gates are free to slappy around while you make no boost, if you'd like i have a nice N/A economy tune you can run while you fix things :-)

I will check at the inlet locations tomorrow. Even at the top of the canister I should still get vacuum correct? Just making I tested the vacuum right and it's not just how I'm hooking it up making it read 0

Just to clarify, you are checking the correct side of the canister, right? One side will have vacuum but the other side just goes to the solenoid and wastegate and will have 0 vacuum.

Do you still not have a logging module to show actual boost? I forget the threshold for 30ff being kicked if at wot and not meeting target.

Solenoids are new. I was thinking the wastegates were hitting the downpipes which was making the clanking noise i was hearing. But what would explain no whoosh sound from the booster line?

Seriously dude connect straight vacuum to the gates. If it boosts you have an issue with vacuum getting to the solenoids, or the solenoids controlling the vacuum (DME issue, mixed up vacuum routing etc). If it doesn't boost you have an issue with actuators or the gates themselves either binding etc, or a massive leak.

You can take the hoses coming from under the front of the engine cover and connect them to the hoses on the OUT side of your solenoids. (the solenoids are marked)
This will immediately send you into reduced power mode though because it won't be able to control boost. |

Have you replaced all your vacuum lines? If not, get about 8 feet of this in 3.5mm. http://www.verociousmotorsports.com/...ld-by-the-Foot
Also, I take out the hard lines that run right on top of the valve cover and run silicon all the way to the vacuum cans.

So far he's been doing a hand over hand of the vac system and slowly eliminating possibilities. I agree with V8Bait; just plumb the vac lines direct to the turbos and see what happens. Be prepared to get off the throttle in a hurry because if the wastegates are on correctly you're going to build a ton of boost very fast and not be able to control it (your driving distance with this setup should be not very many feet... not miles or days)

Get a vac gauge and hook them up to those lines coming frol the turbo. Pump it a few times and see if the rear gate arms move.
