ONR is a rinseless wash product, it's full name is Optimum No Rinse. In simplest terms, it allows you to wash your car without a hose. There are several threads in the detailing section that get into lots of details about ONR and how to use it safely.

Are there any touchless places in the Framingham or Milford areas? I went to Fitzy's in Ashland but just did the self wash bay. Since I don't have a garage all of the water froze on the car! When it's 15 degrees outside, hand drying is not really an option.

My car hadn't been washed in a month or more, and it was really looking bad. I ran it through the touchless wash on Washington St. in Somerville tonight (they close at midnight, 7 days a week). For $10 I got a decent spray including undercarriage. Granted, it's nothing like a real hand wash or detail, but given how cold it has been, it was well worth it. The dash said it was 17F, and on my way home the remaining water droplets froze to the car. LOL

I live in Hopkinton as well. Call Bob at Metal Mirrors in Hopkinton - hand wash and inside clean is $20.

I've been going to the touchless car wash at Neponset Circle in Dorchester. I go once a week. Good results. Just be sure to tell the guy that you don't want anyone to touch the paint. There's a guy at the beginning that will sponge your windows. Waive off the guy at the end that tries to dry it with a towel. The entrance for the touchless is a bit hidden. It's to the right of the entrance for the main car wash. Pretty convenient for you guys in Boston and on the south shore: http://www.neponsetcirclecarwash.com/home/

Anyone know of any touchless around boston that doesn't have those guiding rails like the one on washington street. I went there last night and realized my car is too wide to fit in

I don't think OG Mike's ride is fitting in anything with rails. We got those rail - less ones out in the burbs, just drive into the center and stop.

I took mine to Mr. Sudzy on Rt. 114 in North Andover across from the Stop and Shop. It was $6 for a touchless wash. The car came out with some streaks on the back, but not bad for what it is.

I go to the touchless on Washington St in Somerville. $8 and super powerful dryer that knocked my gas cap cover off. Luckily dealer replaced it under warranty, but just make sure it's locked before having that blower go off on your car.

Exact same thing happened to my fuel door there. I called and they were able to find the cover, which is back on (temporarily since it was pretty scratched up on each corner). HC Boston agreed to replace it under warranty, but have to wait for parts to come in and be painted. It must be the blow dry, but I can see it happening anywhere since those doors are not particularly well attached (just clipped to a piece of plastic).
