+1 The first thing I noticed, too. Sounds great. It can be heard inside and outside of the cabin. Also, it's easier to reverse than DPs for dealer visits.

BMS filter enabled me to hear the turbos, even at stock boost levels...

It is only $119 and provides great performance as well....

I've also heard a lot of problems with custom BOV's on this car, with no real performance gains (or even a need, due to the size of our turbos).
+1, thats why all you need are upgraded diverter valves

Unless the stockers leak, there's simply no need to change anything.

How many of you will be pushing 30+psi?

DV, VTA BOV it doesn't make a difference.

But some people still choose to do so because it SOUNDS nice..

Well,,each to his own..

Will a CAI and/or Downpipes void warranty? I'd be surprised if it did ?

Stock Turbo sound is nice if you put your windows down. Also, try the golf tee mod.

BMS filter FTW!!!
Just had it installed.. damn.. I didn't know turbo spooling sounds like this..
Bang for the buck, and if you have trouble installing it,
have Crimson92 install it for you! He'll do it for a great price!

plus m'fin 1!

I get tired of hearing the same old repeated rhetoric that removing the recirc from a BoV will effect performance. I've even seen people on here state that it will cause the car to run lean off throttle... lol. Thanks for being a voice of reason in this thread.

As far as spool sound, any high flow intake will assist in hearing the compressor spool. Exhausts are arguable as you've got the wastegate actuator and also cats in the stream drowning it out. You're mainly going to just hear louder exhaust noise with a new exhaust.

If you really want to hear a loud spooling sound you could remove any pre-compressor piping but that would probably make the crankcase ventilation system flip out and possibly throw codes. Ultimately it's going to take a turbo upgrade, and maybe even an external wastegate setup to really hear the turbo(s) spool.
