You do realize that one of the vents on the M3's hood is fake and the engine is derived from the M6 & M5's V10. Not that it's a bad thing because it really is no big deal, but my point is, why do you make it a big deal with Lexus? And for a poseur to match the M3 in the straightline, it's not bad. Let me ask you, are you sure you're talking about the M3 or the M5?

13.2 MPH is not that impressive. the e46 M3 could do that stock.

one vent is functional the other is there to balance the design on the M3. the Lexus are merely for looks and ugly at that. personally I think the is350 is a nice looking car - but they ruined the look with the ricer look on the isf.

derived from the M5 motor ? the block dimensions are the same minus 2 holes. nothing else is interchangable. thats different then if they just too k the V8 out of the 750il and had ducati tune it for more HP. the M3 motor is built by the same people that built the BMW f1 engines.

the ISF does not have an available 6 speed manual. is that casue they expect real moms from OC and grandpas to drive it? lets face it Lexus owners average age is like 62 and BMW average age is like 46.

The OP was being sarcastic. The IS350 does 13.2 to 13.4 and the ISF has done as low as 12.5. My point of the vents and engine is that it does'nt really matter, but you're obviously picking on it because you don't like Lexus.
That's like picking on the M3's power bulge because it's non-functional, it's just stupidity on your part IMO. But hey, i don't expect anything less from you. I've been a fan of BMW since 86' when i first saw the M3 and unlike you, i know the difference between the M5 and the M3.

You're right, i will keep it on topic, my bad bro. Dude, i don't know if you're reading my post or not, but i have told you and many other members here countless times that the M3 is a better all around performance car than the ISF, C63, and RS4. I just don't understand why you think that it would bother me that the M3 is a better car than the ISF and the rest of the competition. The only thing that i'm against with are senseless criticism, regardless what car it is. I've defended BMW many times in other forums and with my friends when they bash BMW for it's reliability. Consumers Reports have shown that BMW's reliability has been in the top 5 or even top 3. I have no problem with constructive and educated criticism, it's the senseles uneducated ones that annoys me.

See now your just being an ass and a liar. Give me one example that i ever bash any BMW, and when did i ever said that Lexus is better, answer is never. And for your information, even in Lexus forums many members thinks that the M3 is better and they don't get bash for it. you'll see that I simply said that it got beat bad in the video. I went as far as to say the 335i had more people in it and that it was probably stock. I even went to say that I'd have gotten the 335i (post 17) if it were available in 2005 when I got my IS350.

I didn't but the IS-F to track against M3s or 135s. I bought it to take me to and from work as my daily driver. If I were to go tracking and I became serious, I'd buy a dedicated race car. It's also a car my wife uses on occasion (hence the auto tranny). It's also a lease so I'm not interested in modifying so I can void my warrantee and break my contract.

Take it easy on the IS-F guy. I drive the IS-F on wedensdahy at the track with an M3 and 335i. The Is-F will KILL a stock 335i in acceleration. I sel;l BMW's and have an 06 330i myself and trust me when I tell you the IS-F is an amazing machine. I usually dont like anything lexus but this car is VERY Different. It truly is a performace sedan. The brakes and the hadling are excellent. I also drove the 135i at the same course. I was at BMW traing and got to drive all of the cars back to back so I can give an honest answer as to what happened.

How many people who are flaming this guy ever drove an IS-F? If you have and you think a 335 is faster your just lying to yourself. 335i with software is a differewnt story, at that point its a drivers race. The Is-F should be a 12 second car if driven properly trust me on that. I do not gain anything buy talking about how nice the IS-F is espically since I sell BMW's and NOT Lexus products. The fact you cant get a stick is a deal breaker for me but its a great car none the less. I also drove it against the S5 and liked it a LOT MORE. The IS-F is a great car for the money. The M3 beat it in everything else IMO but you guys need to wake up and get off your high horses on the 335i. Its a great car but the IS-F is a WONDERFULL car trust me on that.

^^Thanks for a very mature and objective point of view. We need more members like you that don't flame on other brands just because it's not a BMW. I'm a pure car enthusiast, i respect and like most cars out there. Each cars has their own strenghts and weaknesses, i truly believe that there is no car or carmaker out there that does best at everything.
