I was hoping somebody with access to AIS was going to post a pic. Thanks to all that have contributed.
Looks like she should be docking hopefully late afternoon.
How long does it take at the VPC before it gets loaded on a truck to the dealers? As long as there are no injuries..
From my understanding, I thought the dealer did all the prep work.

My baby is

330xi
Jet Black
Black Leather
Premium Package
Comfort Access
Burl trim
6MT

Dealer installed items
20% tint
The only thing I forgot to tell the dealer about are the carpeted mats. I hope they leave them in there.

Josh, what year A4 do you have. I actually just sold mine. It was a 99.5 1.8T Quattro. That car was so much fun.

The only difference is that you have drive by wire and the cd/cassette/radio.

By the way, I thought I had read somewhere that AIS is delayed by at leat one hour, especially around NY. So, our boat may already be docked!

Status:

Talked to dealer. At final point of VPC today, going to be on a truck tomorrow, and hopefully at dealer wednesday. Paperwork usually comes in a day or two after car (which sucks, cause this might hold it up). Day or two for PDI, installation of toys.

I would love to get the car Friday, Saturday, but don't know how likely it is. It's hard because I want the car so bad but I'm getting a lot of stuff installed (clear bra I know takes a long time by itself, maybe 5 hours) and I don't want them rushing. I told the dealer if the techs need time give it to them, I want everything done right. I've waited this long another day day or two to make sure everything is done right is no problem. But I really want the car ASAP!!!

So close, yet so far away!!

Whats the status of everyone elses??

I paid a visit to my dealer on Sat to finalize the paperwork. He said my car got to VPC on Friday night. But the ship unloaded on Thurs night??
Anyway, he said it should be 3-4 days before it gets to them. I am going to have them install the tint on the windows. I am hoping to have the car by Saturday. A big hope!
