I would count on another increase for MY09. They need to adjust for the fact that the US dollar continues to be worth less. I know, it sucks - my order just went in and I got the call saying it's gonna be another $600.

That sucks, I was thinking of waiting on an 09 Sedan but now I think I might just suck it up and get an 08 coupe.

Eventually though they had to raise prices because they just don't make enough of their cars here at the moment, it was only a matter of time.
I respectfully disagree with everything you've said. If you really think the price of a BMW has anything to do with exchange rates, then a SC made X5 should be nearly 1/2 price in London.

What are you trying to say? I have a feeling that the price is somewhat inelastic on BMWs. The brand image is so strong that especially with leasing, they have a somewhat captive audience. What do you mean, "the fact that you have to pay more for a Toyota...?" Isn't that the way it generally works? It's the same principle as paying tax on clothes and food--regressive in nature.

So do I have to pay for the June price increase if I am getting my 2008 335i via dealer trade from another state? Is the price increase reflected on the window sticker? I just had a copy of the spec sheet for my car faxed to me, and it still has the old pricing. The actual production date is 3/20/08. Do they have the right to ADD those increases to my car??? Or, are they trying to scam me for the extra profit?

BMW price increases are based on when you buy the car, not when it was built. So, yes, you will have to pay the increase.
