What xenon is saying is on the E90, if you select DRL's, the xenon main beam AND the angel corona rings come on. On the E92, only the corona rings come on for DRL's. On the E90 you have to select sidelights to just have the corona rings on.

I don't know about the facelifted E90, maybe this is now the same as the E92?
