Wrath and SC2 were supposed to release around the same time..
Spring 09 for SC2, Fall 09 D3 would be nice.
How can anyone fathom a 2010 or later release for SC2 when it's pretty much SC1 with better graphics, and a few more units.
They didn't have to go through the trouble of designing an entirely new game, especially since they failed to add a new race. Just tweak the old units, add a few different mechanics and you're set. (Feeding us the same game pretty much)
WoW was a completely new game so it needed more time to develop.
Expansions however take much less time to turn out because the game has been made before. Less testing is required because they know what works.

i somehow doubt it. they already have a witch doctor which is a "dark" character. it's unlikely they would introduce another one. some kind of "knight" or paladin class is expected, however.

The Diablo games arnt set up for a monthly fee, it's a completly different type of game. WoW was a sort of spin off of WC, so there could easily be a Diablo version of WoW in the future, but I doubt that will happen this decade!

We know at least 1 more class they havent announced, a ranger/archer type.

monk trailer is wack compared to the wizards. i think i heard 2011 is more of an accurate release date. i'll just get excited for sc2, and put d3 on hold. diablo was by far my favorite of the three franchises. i hope the graphics aren't outdated by the time it's released.

The 2 ambiguously announced releases by Blizzard for 2010 have been confirmed indirectly by Mike Morhaime (Blizz COE) as being SC2, and WoW Cataclysm. D3 will be a 2011 release.

So how many classes are left? 1? With only 1 character that can take dmg, Barbarian, I would think it would have to be something like a Paladin. Although, a ranger would be likely too.

Yeah, I am the same way. Built a nice computer about 6 years ago, would probably retail for $3k back then. Now, of course, it's a little out of date. Was planning on getting a nice laptop for SC2 and D3 in October when Windows 7 comes out, but I guess I'll be waiting awhile longer.

Actually, I believe this is innacurate. Blizzard has gone on record stating that 1 of 2 unnamed (at the time) classes is a shape shifter of sorts. The discussion for this came about, because they admited that one of the classes animations and models weren't done and because it couldn't even be tested with dummie models because it just wouldn't function or work at all for it. While I suppose there could be a shapeshifting ranged physical attack class, there really isn't a classic dnd class that matches, which is where most of this stuff comes from or at least uses as a guideline. Playing off basic familiarity.

Some guesses for the 5th and final class for the release are Werewolf or some kind of Druid remake. Mind you this is all conjecture, as no one really has any clue yet. However, I could easily see them shelving any type of archer class and then putting it into an expansion to build excitement from the Ranger faithful crowd. I guess the last class could be some kind of Arcane Archer or something. But I don't really see why that would need special animations.

ATI is releasing their next gen graphics cards next month, and Nvidia will be releasing the GT300 GPU cards sometime at the end of this year, with a full release starting in early 2010. Regardless, you should definately wait for these new platforms to come out because it will be driving prices of the current stuff down a notch or two.

The new GT300 GPU cards should blow current gen stuff out of the water.
