I've got my tail lights painted by a body/paint shop. The paint matches my cars color. (black metallic) they look sick and everyone loves them. no harm to the warranty either!

I'm sorry, the ones that are blacked out instead of smoked crack me up. Reminds me of the 80s when guys would buy the GTS black out overlays for their Mustang GTs and Camaro IROC-Zs. I'm waiting for people to bring back the double bladed wiper blades and Oakley stickers on their windshields. LOL!!!!

Some of the ones that are lightly smoked are "ok." I will say the one above me with the white exposed is not too bad looking for a blackout-unique!

Just my opinion

I've done the same exact thing to my car. I bought the Spray for about $20 and I taped up the rest of my car. I got a little bit of it on the paint of the car itself and use Armor All wipes to get it off. Really easy, took about 20-25 min for everything and it totally made a difference.
