I wouldnt cut of the trunk. I bought cheap Chinese handles for the Chinese Emulator. Now i am upgrading to OEM module so i installed the f10 camera on chinese handle. No need to cut and yes I am the only person who has done this way :

Problem with those small boot handles is you can't get your fingers in the same. I have fairly large hands and hated the feel of the Chinese handle. Cutting out the boot lid for the larger (including camera) OEM camera was a must for me.

I don't know, but I do not have any problem with the size or the function. I think it is perfect for me and I am 5 11, my hands are pretty big. And OEM camera must for me as well. That's why I have gone thru all this after having a perfectly working Chinese set like less than 2 months old

U need to remove the plastic cover around the oem camera, then use a drill bit to open a little over 18mm on that Chinese camera hole. Then put silicone all around and press it. When it dries it look so damn good. and put the silicone cover around to hide the imperfections. Thats it!

I will never going to cut my trunk for the camera. It is just me. I like oem application but also like to keep it oem

But it looks pretty good if you can cut it right for the FX handle.

e84 PDC has an additional coding option for RVC and TVC also controlling the Parking menu with Camera screen such as turning on and off when u engage/disengage the shift or when u turn the car off . In parking menu the Brain is PDC, TRSVC is working for PDC!

But if the whole point is using the OEM application, YES e84 PDC is must!

IDK why I never thought of that. I have not seen as creative of a retrofit for the E9X in a very long time.

After installing TRSVC module did you route new cables from TRSVC to CIC?
Or I can just use RCA cable from Chinese retrofit and connect to TRSVC.

I saw also that 3 cables from TRSVC need to be connected to CIC instead of 2 from Chinese retrofit

thank you ok I will try to order an e84 pdc I saw one but it has front and rear pdc. my bmw e82 1m has only rear PDC I guess I will have errors in ista when I scan it like whats happening now I get error only in trsvc because my trsvc came from e70 with the surround option. I bought my kit from bimmer retrofit NBT EVO. with e series emulator.

is that ok? I mean I need an e84 pdc

oh currently in my car is the trsvc surround module for e70 with camera. and I also have trsvc camera from f30 with only reverse camera only. bimmer retrofit told me that because my car was an e82 and I have a e series nbt evo emulator better to get the e series trsvc camera module as that is the only one that will work for me car. not sure if icam will work with my setup but I just want to have a backup camera so that my 1m will be like same infotainment as the m2

I can not 100 percent answer that question. I also have f10 m5 TRSVC at the moment. And that damn retrofit cable stucked at the custom and no one doing anything so I can not progress on my DIY.

But after making many many researches what I see clearly that F series TRSVC uses CANBUS 1 just like the E series. F series PDC uses the CAN2 line. So TRSVC in theory should work with E series Without any issue!



And does not matter you use E series TRSVC or F series TRSVC you will not be able to code it on NCSExpert anyway. Even tho you can code it somehow, there is no point because there is nothing to code on TRSVC module. And Hitch Zoom Option can be coded under CIC with changing the Value of MACRO_TRAILER_COUPLING to Aktiv .

I just installed my TRSVC and PDC from E84. Camera from F10

All is working perfect! Flash new modules to match vin number.

Trsvc e70 is work but i don't know if mirror have space for camera
