when I got out of training I was handed an inventory.. one of the claims was a person that crossed the center line causing a fatality to a himself and a minor occupant in the not at fault vehicle.

He is super lucky that the front of the car hit the tunnel instead of the car being just a little bit lower and the A pillar windscreen hitting the tunnel first - if that had happened I'd suspect he would have died.

I saw that on Reddit earlier today, laughed because it was just unbelievable and looked like it was out of a movie, now I know it was a BMW and it's sobering how different my reaction is.

Thanks for the info, I'm glad he survived that. He had to have fallen asleep and is very lucky to be alive. Had he been even a foot higher I think it would have been a fatality. Did you happen to catch the date it happened?

Thanks for the info, I'm glad he survived that. He had to have fallen asleep and is very lucky to be alive. Had he been even a foot higher I think it would have been a fatality. Did you happen to catch the date it happened?

A foot lower and the tunnel would have taken off the roof of the car and he prob wouldn't have survived.
