Very few people know that.

I shouldn't say valve spring gone, it's cam and big a.. plate. ( Calls FREEVALVE camless engine ) Saves a lot weight and way more efficient. Without more to explain here is the video from the genius that developed it Christian von Koenigsegg

i just bought a 2015 640i gran coupe and im pissed it doesnt have the b58 like why bmw why i was gonna get the 340i just for the motor but after sitting in a 6 i couldnt downgrade like that just for power.


atleast i still own an e82 n54 beast.

I will have to make that decision in the F22's last year, when the G42's engine lineup is a matter of record.

I'm determined not to get another F gen car. Can't help feeling the generation represents the low point of BMW steering, and with respect to the F30's size, bloat.

this engine really pulls strong and it reminds me of old school bmw I6 motors..

It is wierd to me that no matter how warm the engine is itt seems to always do a cold start cycle when first started
