The Ista P suggested programming and coding all modules except the multimedia which use MOST interface that the cable I own doesn't support.
So action plan was determined to program and code all mdule and accepted,... And proceeded with murmuring heart.
The process goes arround 40 minutes total.
Part of the proses is here

Power was supplied by hooking to another car running. Laptop was connected to power supply.

Used tool:
Expert pro DCAN cable from bimmergeeks
IstaP stand alone with IstaP loader 6.1installed native on macbook Pro running windows 7 bootcamp.
Battery jumper, and another car for sure.

Result:Successfully programmed all modules.
Car runs great after that.

Please tell us which issue did you had with your BMW? What was the reason for updating all modules?

ANd how long it takes for updating all modules?

I have an E91, and wondering to update it.

Delete the software you currently have completely (control panel > add remove programs) then go to bimmergeeks.net/downloads you'll find what you need there

I believe before 3/07 you needed a K can cable at least
this was true for the 3 series.
I have a k can only for my 06 3
Don't know if the Bimmergeeks downloads cover anything but the
6 cylinder gas and maybe diesels . Does anybody know?

I hate to ask but i downloaded it and for some reason it wont open at all, would you be able to remote install and set up for me? I must be doing something wrong because everytime I try to do it it doesn't work correctly.

Are you stuck at the first install part? Gotta make sure you're running it in windows 7 compatibility mode or else it won't open. Gotta follow the instructions in the downloaded text file exactly.

Just found this YouTube video on the step by step download process for the bimmergeeks install. Just follow those steps and you'll be good to go.

The one drive is playing up, Im busy transferring all the files to my MEGA account.
I know it has a 5gb limit for non members, but there is a way to get around this problem.

I noticed my BMW Standard Tools install was included in your collection. However, I'd recommend you grab the latest version, as I have made a few updates/tweaks since then.

Easy to become a Mega member and 5 bucks a month for
unlimited speed downloads last time I used it . So much easier
to do this stuff now that I have 300 megs download speed.
Took days at 25 megs.

I prefer Media Fire, seemed to be more stable for me. And, there's no DL limit for anyone. I only have to pay a monthly subscription (annually really) to increase my storage.
