Congrats! I bet that feels great. Props to you for doing it all yourself. That interior looks so nice.

Hahaha thanks! There's two of them actually, one's just not as photogenic. It's nice to have two therapy dogs on hand whenever I wanna break something because it's not working out

Took the car for a spin around the block today! It drives well, zero issues other than my bent front wheel lol. My brake light, ABS light, and traction control light refuse to go off, but I'm pretty sure that's just because my alignment is way off as the parts car was wrecked. Soon as I get a replacement wheel, I'll be going to the alignment shop to get it aligned, and then I'll try to recalibrate the ABS through INPA.

Also still have to wire in my reverse switch wire, figure out some headlight issues (angel eyes stopped working, and the bixenon shutters won't work correctly even though I wired and coded the headlights in properly), and figure out my rear bumper situation. I'm heading out of town again this weekend and won't be back for about two weeks, but hopefully when I do get back I'll be able to get it registered and on the road by the end of September!!

Update: Got a trip permit for the car, got an alignment today and drove it around town for a bit. The car runs perfectly, and pulls quite nicely lol. Ran into an overheating issue, my fan refuses to turn on so I'll have to figure that one out. While driving the temps are perfect, but when I stopped they started creeping higher and higher after two or so hard pulls

Update on the fan: Turns out it was just a blown 60A fuse in the fuse box behind the glove compartment. I ended up using a voltage tester on the plug for the fan, and found out the main power wire was getting 0 volts so I checked the relay and fuse and there it was. Soon as I replaced it, the fans were up and running. Been driving the car around for a couple of days, and it's better than anything I could have imagined. I'll upload some pics soon!! Even though I'm still missing a back bumper because the m sport touring rear bumpers are practically unicorns...

Are you looking for used or new? Best new price I found for OEM was Tischer at around $750 shipped for the cover itself. I've read on these forums that Rock Auto sells an aftermarket version that fits well for around $450 shipped. Can't speak from experience though.

You will probably have better luck looking across the pond. Shipping could be a BITCH. Or look at UK ebay that has Chinese sellers. That could possibly be your saving grace.

This is still awesome.

These do not post, but just to get an idea. You can always message the seller. Or, you could easily mold one of the diffuser options listed below as well.

I've been searching for used, as it would be cheaper than brand new but rockauto at the moment is probably going to be my best bet. They have a few in stock, but at the moment I'm thinking about just cutting my 328i bumper to accomodate the 335 exhaust tips, as a temporary fix

Thanks for the links! I've seen a lot of em, but shipping is at least $150 from that side of the pond. At that point, might as well get one brand new over here for $450. Wish they were more popular here in the states

do you have a approximation of the total cost ?

Without the 335 part out, since I'm planning to get all parts from a salvage yard. And excluding mods.

Just buy a spare car. It's going to be nearly impossible...

Yeah, it'll be near impossible and not worth it. A parts car saved me so many times as I was always comparing the two to see the differences between the 335i and 328i to swap things. So far, I've been keeping track of my expenses and I'm at about $10000 for just the two donor cars, not including maintenance and mods. So it's totally doable, plus I still have an entire running 328i engine I've got to sell as well as the rest of the 335i parts car.

Some more pictures... Actually ended up cutting my 328i bumper to accomodate the 335i exhaust this evening, I'll try and take some pictures tomorrow. Not my best work, but it's a temporary fix until I get an m sport rear.

thanks for the feedback. fortunately, there's a ton of cheap 335 here and a ton in salvage yards.

My dream project was a E91 LCI n54 singe turbo.

I found a very very very very rare and TRULY fully equipped 6mt E91.
yes all the package, including the M pack. keyless start, nav, executive, sport, red real leather.... it was way to expensive, but knowing that they sold about 10 of those car in the entire canada, I should have get more $$$.

Anyway, found a cheap ass E91 pre lci sport pack nav pack. In 2 months I did about 10 miles, still thinking about this n54 swap tho

No problem! I think I might go single turbo eventually, but that depends on how long I keep the car. I might sell it in a year or so and try building an f31 n55 or b58 wagon. If I do end up keeping it and I get a second, nicer car (not that the e91 isn't great, it's awesome) I might turn this into a single turbo sleeper haha
