I am in the last 2 weeks of waiting (8 weeks) for my Alpine White e90 335i with M Sport package (alcantara/cloth/aluminium interior) and believe me, I would never wait for another car. Its just too tiring...too stressful. Maybe I will change this opinion when I will see the car, but its just too hard to wait that long.

I did not get the hk system!

Apparently my dealer did not know that this was now an option on the 09s and they snuck my order into their first allocation before having that knowledge. I had already placed my order well prior to "build your own" being available for the 09s, which otherwise would have tipped me off that I needed to add this option. Build your own debuted during the BMW championship. That was Sep 1-7.

Ordered car on 3 August before 2009 info was available. CA gave me the wrong production number. BMW NA kept telling me to "give it a few days to show up in the system." Car was slated for week 37 production, but actually went into production in week 36, so by the time my CA called to "make sure I still wanted a car they can't sell on Oahu", it turned out my car was actually in the paint shop (joke on CA - LOL). It was also too late to add the Logic 7 sound system to my order; however, since my car is in the purgatory otherwise known as the EPA hold, I have a meeting with my CA (who still denies there is an EPA hold) today to attempt to add it on at the VPC.

According to my dealership's manager today, the Logic 7 install is not something that the VPC can do - it is a factory upgrade. They also told me it would be "expensive" for them to do it IF they could find someone who knew how. So, I let it go. I've listened to the standard and Logic 7 sound systems and I can't really tell the difference. I'm not one for messing with the graphic equalizer anyway.

whatever you do, stick with BMW. i was hooked to audi for a few months, but then i decided that a bimmer is what fits me, especially when i learned to drive from a bimmer.

were you considering getting a S5? I love the 335 but it is just I already had one. M3 is only an option bec of the financing they have for 08's and a dealer near me has the exact car I want minus the 19" wheels..... which is no biggie.
