I know I already voted once, but I do love me some pretty cars. All of the Porsche endurance racers of this era were awesome, but I think this one takes the cake:

This one is slightly split, probably not the prettiest, I did not like it back then, but today, it looks like it is most defenitely a timeless design, makes a Ferrari look overdone

Yeah as I get older I can see how the simpler designs look better. The NSX, the last RX7 and the 911's are all pretty dang clean and crisp.

Edit: I just found myself staring at the picture on my monitor for the last couple of mins after posting it...

A former boss of mine has one, a real one. Along with a '65 Shelby Cobra and a few other toys.

The 288 is one of the, if not the, most beautiful and inspiring car made.

I don't know what it is with Europeans, they just excel in design with everything. Cars, shoes, belts, bags, clothing, etc. Always the best stuff.

Not to make this a 288 GTO love fest but I always thought the back end was the money shot on that car. I've never seen one in real life though, only in pictures.
