I don't know what the point of this group buy was since they just lowered the prices on their website. Pinout for 379 and pnp for 629. I'm getting the pinout asap then I'm getting the pnp harness for 200 afterwards

ASAP? you need it that bad? its winter in Canada and your in the East Coast

JB3 wont make any good difference in winter except slip and slide more

and by the time spring/summer comes, prices will fall again and would come with newer/better maps imo

With Rick (aka RiXeffect) suddenly became Vinshu distributor, and with positive recent posts by 2 members (Rick being one of them) who just installed the newest software of Porcede. I think Terry trying to maintain a potential customers by lower the unit price.

its because the dollar just went up again (from 0.77 to 0.82) and i don't want to risk paying more money when the dollar takes another hit. So I'm getting it now and then i'll install it in the spring

I'm not sure that's an accurate picture. From what I recall reading in the tuning forum, Rick said that he wanted to sell both tunes, but Terry told him he wouldn't be supportive of that (and would stop using him as a distributor) and Rick ended up choosing Procede.

Just bumped into the post actually, in case you're interested. Rick did a review on the Procede this past weekend IIRC, and posted it in that forum.

He also said:

dollar is probly not a factor...the thing is, if you won't be installing it until spring, its price will most likely drop again by that time...I'd say $500 for PnP version

yeah Ian...i was close, so close to impulse buying but gen_e92 mentioned to me since we wont need it for track in spring and winter is pretty ugly in canada, no need for it..

just drive safe, even on a sunny day in winter in east coast, theres black ice everywhere
