Yeh DME was stuffed for sure Aussie... just thought with all the trouble shooting you had done might have left something unplugged for cylinder 4, done it myself a few times. Nothing more frustrating them fixing something and then finding out there is still a problem.... hope you track down the problem soon mate
Misfire seems to be following a coil. Anyone got a spare coil pack around sydney? Where can get one on a Saturday afternoon in the NW?

I appreciate that you are probably all getting tired of my saga but your help is appreciated.

Replaced coil that i assumed was bad. Car idles ok, is smooth as silk with very low throttle position (in neutral). As soon as I load it up at all, put it in gear or go for a drive, it turns to crap. It splutters and misfires and both banks show to be lean as anything. It then throws misfire codes on cylinders 1, 3, 4, 5. Cylinders 2 and 6 have the new coil from today and one I replaced a year ago. So how is it that the new DME is causing the older coils to misfire. The DME is from a 1M.

I was going to replace plugs and coils at some stage. Any suggestions? I see some option

No worries mate. Thats what the forum is for

The precision raceworks requires you to cut up the engine cover
Cant tell what part numbers the other ECS kits include

Id start with the sparesbox coils and then buy some new spark plugs. I use NGK ILZKBR7B8DG

It's alive!!!
6 new coils and 6 plugs and she is as smooth as babies arse.

Has no power and will not build boost. I assume it has to do with the Ecu not being coded or something. At least it can drive to be programmed.

Checked logs. ACC pedal goes to 100 but throttle never goes above 15%. Must be in limp mode.

All fixed. Took it to Tom who had to change one bit in a hex file. Reflagged with a modified file. Car runs like a dream. At last.

Tom at JPL is a genius. He gets all my business from here on out.
