Hey, where did you bought those cases. Everywhere I been (NAPA, Kragen, PEP BOYS, Autozone, Walmart), they only sell 0W-40 as 1 quart bottles

Advanced Auto Parts has a Mobil 1 promotion: 5 qts + filter for $29.99. They had several different varieties including the 0-40w european spec oil.

It appears as long as they enter the promotion code in the register that the oil rings up at $4.30 a qt. I bought 10 qts and a filter for my wife's mdx since M1 does not have BMW cartridge filters.

There is also a $10 rebate for the oil starting in April. You can sign up on Mobil's web site.

The strap wrench on the oil filter cover works great! Huge savings over the OEM filter cover wrench...

Get the oil and the wrench from tichers. I bought the strap also and couldn't keep it from slipping. Took it back. Bavarian has the wrench for $14.95

my strap wrench is a Craftsman brand from Sears.........works great

i've been using it for the last 10 DIY oil changes.........
