I wouldve already installed it but

1) im so damn lazy, winter....
2) it's been rainy and really cold here lately (low 40s-mid 30s)
3) worried cold weather wont adhere well, so I'd have to break out the blow dryer to warm up the trunk area slightly or the 3m tape...

If I grow the strength I'll install the bad boy tonight!!

Honestly, the pics you showed does show poor fitment. Regardless of what you paid, the product does not fit well and should be considered by future buyers.

perhaps it may look that way in pictures, i'll refrain from commenting anymore until its installed since some ppl potentially feel I may be getting paid by the sponsor to give him a 'pad' on the back ....

For those who have a hard time 'visualizing' things, and have never installed body mods...hopefully this pic clears up what was happening....

The combination of my left hand pushing the lid to my trunk and the OEM roundel caused a gap on the right side as seen in the pic kobrakye is so adamantly distraught about...

Yes, i have the VRS DVWP bootlid/trunk. I would say it is 95%-98% oem fitment. Just gotta play with it a bit to get it to sit just right. I might have gotten really lucky tho, because i have heard of people having slight fitment issues. Or maybe those people just didn't know how to install/adjust it.
It is Wayyyy lighter than stock, i was actually surprised how light it was. You have to give it a good "slam" to close the trunk because the shocks that hold the trunk on are so strong.

sorry for the

I can honestly careless about the fitment, since this was never a product i was considering putting on my car. I'm just stating facts about the fitment and warning other members who are interested in buying this product.

If i was to buy this part, I'd be pretty upset if someone didn't tell me about the fitment issues. You cannot sit here and say there are no fitment issues because the member you quoted above (kit) has the same fitment problems as you.

"kits" quote on his fitment

"just went out and test fit the spoiler
took off the emblems already!
but the fitment on the side and around the light is not perfect"

You are just making excuses on why it "looks" like there are fitment problems. Face it, you took your time drawing that picture to jusitfy your purchase, which in the end, didn't work and you bought a replica and you got replica results. Just stating facts.

well as i said....even the real one pur or cf have fitment issues
not only the rep
to be honest this spoiler is so much better fitment than the pur verison
but not the cf version
since the pur version just suck so bad.....so it's waste of time to even purchase that version
but for the cf version it's way Over priced!
i say this spoiler is good buy and good fit....just not perfect!
nth is perfect to be honest even the full trunk

Unlike yourself I've owned the authentic AND the replica of this product so I feel I have room to speak/comment on fitment, quality....cant say the same for yourself. Regardless, enjoy whichever you chose to go with.

Although you state you have no interest in putting this product on your car....yet you felt motivated to post in the thread in the first place, right?
