I never disagreed with anything. That's why I kept putting visual confirmation in "quotes". Maybe you can get your rix gauge customized with audible confirmation too. When you start your car it will beep and say "you are currently in map 1".

No i think the visual is good enough. Maybe you can make the visual appearence of "engine malfunction. reduced power" be an indication of what map your on

Engine malfunction and reduced power are two things I'm not really familiar with. Maybe I should get a JB3 so I can become familiar with them. You need to learn how to handle getting your balls busted.

it does read out the current map when you start the car, but just on the screen, no voice yet, LOL
