Yeah plus Notre Dame losing to Marshall and Wisconsin losing. Suddenly don't feel so bad about our crappy first half before pulling away in the second half. Looking forward to next week vs. aTm.

Now, if Kentucky can pull off a win tonight, it will be a really great football Saturday.
Next week will be a great matchup at College Station.

You guys looked better than A&M today but they will be out for a vengeance at home again. Should be a fun one!

I'm praying for another upset tonight especially against some Gators haha

OMFG!! That has to be the worst loss in A&M history. And if only that one linebacker taken down Young, Texas could've won that game. Not a good weekend for 2 of Texas best teams

I wonder if Jimbo will change QBs at aTm. King can run but didn’t really have control of the offense and some of his passes were pretty bad.

I know they will be ready for us and vengeance next week and expect we will be ready too. TVD reportedly watching film and working on mechanics tonight after a mediocre game today. I like our OL and RBs against their young DL after watching their game today.

Would have to agree Captain Blood . App State came to play today. I think RickFLM4 makes a pretty good point when it comes to A&M’s QB situation. Might be time to make a change.

Either Texas defense is vastly improved or Bama offense is in shambles. Bama must have punted like 6-7 times in a row.

Quinn Ewers injury is a big blow to Texas.
On the 2 yard line with the half ending and your starting QB out, you need to go and get the TD. Its your chance to show Bama who is boss and get a bigger lead in a defensive struggle.

Stupid they didn’t wait until Oct. 1 to cut that in half. Season is already lost.

Exciting battle last night. Very unfortunate for our QB, J Trav. Worried about the extent of his injuries along with the 4 other starters injured

It was a thriller! FSU showing true grit this game. Norvell effectively changing the culture and mindset.

Verse, our best d-end, edge rusher
Robert Scott, veteran o-lineman
Fabian Lovett, our best defensive tackle didn't even dress up
Malcom Ray, defensive tackle

Who’s next to go after Frost? Auburn or Louisville HC?

Tough to watch loss to aTm last night. Our special teams and WRs killed us. Credit to aTm defense (and crowd). Our running game, OL and defense much improved and kept us in the game. On to the rest of the year.

Saw the highlights. Looks like the Canes beat themselves - special teams and missed tackles did them in

Missed tackles on one drive but overall our defense was excellent and played plenty well enough to win. It was the muffed punt that led to aTm’s first TD, 2 missed FG’s (one blocked) and lack of red zone execution that killed us. TVD wasn’t sharp and receivers had too many drops. We were in it until the end when a WR dropped a pass on 4th down that hit him in the face mask and would have been a first down or more. Representative of the game.

Our OL, DL and DBs looked very good and running game was moving the ball. Special teams were a disaster.

My faith has been restored in A&M. I thought they look good yesterday. Except for the first 10 minutes.
And Texas tech office seems vastly improved. The first quarter, they said they couldn't complete any passes near the sideline. But they did a lot better in the second half.. They should be ranked.

Disclaimer: one of my younger twins goes to tech, the other one goes to A&M.

I said last year Michigan State was on hashish for giving Mel Tucker such a large contract for riding the heisman candidate year of runningback Walker. The guy has a mediocre track record otherwise and that spells disaster in the Big Ten East for MState. Sorry but I like Michigan State but jesus its on its way down. Looking forward to the Kentucky Ole Miss game next week.

I like Mel Tucker but I agree. I think he has the right mindset to help build more of a stable winning program but the contract he got and how early it was really baffled me. He should be throwing KWIII a couple million for his help in securing that bag.
