The lip (whale tail, w/e you want to call it) on Carbon 8's CSL bootlids are a little too subtle, unlike Vorsteiner's. That price is unbeatable though Way to go Euro Dyne, I already recommended your E90 bootlid to a friend who's been considering one

in person, the subtle lip looks much better than the vorsteiner IMO. It doesnt overly stick out the back

I'm sure it looks great. I don't know about better, but I may be a little biased

intro pricing is only good until supplies last for the first batch =)...so once pics are up with the e90 lids, i'd jump on em asap since i already had these with a 10% off intro price...=)

Apples to Oranges...=) C8 caters to a more budget conscious market...VRS on the other hand is also offered by ED, JLevi, Bavx, IND, et al and is backed up with Vorsteiner's legacy =)... I agree with VRS being quite aggressive versus the bill that C8 has =)...different strokes, different folks...i still don't know which i would get of the two. both look good. i'm a man of higher quality and yet at the same time i wanna save money....hmmm, i'll just stick with my touring so i wouldn't have to decide lol...by the way, thank you for the recommendation =)...

Paul came in today!!! Woohoo!!! Daryl was back too =)...Anyway, easy swap in and swap out =)...Did the same procedure like last night! Mounted with brackets but didn't do the trunk lock...fits like a charm...

Carbon 8 did it again for me =)...Impressive to say the least especially for the price range =)!!! Only draw back is a minimal gap from the trunk gate's light with the corner light, but with a respectable body shop this alignment can be corrected...

Enough with the babbling and on with the pictures =)!!!

here, i have a buddy keeping the trunk down since the shocks on the e90 were pushing the trunk up...i guess the oem e90 trunk is heavier than the oem e92 trunk thus requiring more pressure...

here's that minimal gap i was telling you guys about...

Hmmmm...Is that Paul walking by? lol! Anyway, hope you guys enjoy the pics!!!

Very pretty. Is it just me, or is the total height of the CSL bootlid not that far higher than the OEM spoiler? I need to take a closer look at my trunk.

Where are you located?
I can pretty much guide you through everything but since you're going to get it painted anyways i recommend you have the shop install it.
For the simple reason that there's no point in installing and then having to uninstall for paint.
Just bring the trunk to the shop and have them paint then install

Damnn that looks like a winner! Did you buy it Paul? How can that gap be fixed? If one shifts the trunk to the right, wouldn't that leave a gap on the left?
