Every car I buy is taken directly from the dealer to the PPF guy for a full car wrap. Perfectly preserved paint. Looks amazing.

Worth it if you are thinking of changing cars within 5 years. Otherwise, it's a waste of money because you'll have to change around the 5 year mark, and at that point you're ready to paint again.
If it's an exotic/classic car and you have the money to do it, then it's worth it. |

I am getting the front clip, door cups, rocker panels and trunk liftover done on my 530 iX
This is my first BMW in 25 years, I have been driving Lexus LS's and in Vancouver the protective film was either includled or optional on all of our cars . We always took it becasue in the winter there is a lot of gravel, sand, salt and de-icer spread on the road and we also drive on dirt roads to get to friends camps. In the summer the winter traction material ( grit and sand) is all over the roads and sometimes it seems like your car is being rained on from the constant grit being thrown up at it. The film is the first line of defense against all the crap that is put on our winter roads. My wife's 2010 Lexus didn't come with the door cups protected and after 15 years the door cups are pretty well scratched from folks using the latch. The front end looks perfect/ I tened to keep my cars 6- 8 years and I have avoided a repaint so far and the front ends are pretty well chip free. |
