OMG, LOL, blown turbos, bent rods. Exactly how does a turbo blow up or the rods get bent?

Well you won't know unless you put 100k miles on that bad boy, will you?

Please understand, I am not wishing any on this on you or any other M5 owner. It's just that based on what I know, BMW V8's have had both small and big issues since like, forever. Perhaps that isn't the case with the latest gen engines, but I seriously doubt any of you guys will keep your cars for 10 years and/or high mileage. You'll get bored, or tired of Kia electric minivans blowing your doors off at stoplights.

All the connectivity and media should be coming from your phone at this point.
Speaking as someone that was screwed over with the 3G Telematics fiasco, I have zero clue why BMW didn’t learn from that… they chose not to remanufacture a replacement part to put our vehicles on 4G (and lost that ConnectedDrive revenue), but then contemplate subscription services for seat warmers 🙄

Back on topic, sure include a 5G antenna in the car for people that want to subscribe and not use their phones, otherwise, the car should be able to get all the data it needs through the head unit WiFi connection..

The lower side windows also add to the "illusion" that the windscreen is actually lower than it is.

So technically the 2013 version of idrive is fine for you then? Like what features do you actually use?
