Agreed. Techron does do something, but I'm sure it's solving a non-existent problem for 99% of users. Especially for GDI engines it is nearly pointless. I could see using it once in a while in a port injected engine.

crazy cheap is right.... it was $3.19/gal for premium at my nearest Costco yesterday. According to GasBuddy, the next cheapest price was at the BP station, which was $3.89.
I only got to about 11 gallons. 11 x 70 cents = $7.70. So I saved about $7.70 total. ![]() Unfortunately, two hours later, I left the Costco parking lot with almost $500 on my receipt. Costco is evil. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
