'' All systems are NOT ok'' anymore.
ABS, 4x4, Flat tire warning. chasing a speed sensor issue. It jumps on INPA while driving, few possible causes : - aftermarket axle (low probability since I did 500km no issue) - bad sensor : no. changed for a new one , same warning. - Dirt on the axle ring ; possible - melted wiring because of the turbo. Hi probability. Need to trace the wire. However, INPA still reading if. A short maybe? EDIT : yep, melted wires. So pro tip. On a single turbo move away the wiring for : a/c pressure, abs and coolant tank level. Last edited by oVeRdOsE.; 09-02-2024 at 05:07 PM.. |

yeah, it's a project, I have fun, but failing is part of this fun sometimes
So far the worst fail was my clockring, I KNEW I had to check the rotation before installing it, but I was like : I dont think it was turned . anddd few km ride after, the ring teared. 200$ usd new, or 20$ cad at the srcap yard... Since a few days, I dont have issues, no code , no warning. touching wood. However few item ; - slow evap leak code every 100km or so. Changed the complete DMTL tank and pump : no luck. I must have cracked the plastic line somewhere. Hopefully not over the rear subframe. - Power steering cooler connection is leaking. Changed the seal 2 times. Can't figure why this MF is leaking ! - fix (again !) the a/c line, it's leaking. found why : my charge pipe is hitting the fcking super thin alu line . Oh , and parts at the paint shop to complete the M-sport at 90% ! so for the M pack : -front bumper - rear bumper ( MISSING, might fuse my non-m with my M-E90) - side skirt - door sills - steering wheel - foot rest - shifter - hand brake - wheels. |

I also do logs, but the power is not there !
Right now I'm looking at it with Terry, but on every question I ask, he answer totally something else related. Not easy to deal with a tune. I've reach a tuner and few folks on spool street, and hard to have a clear answer. So for 94 oct fuel + meth 50/50 600cc, 21-22 psi, is the number 'rule of thumbs' to get around. However, I have almost no timing. Virtual dyno get me 370whp. Not bad, but not great for a 6262g (performs around a ''normal'' 6466) I'm learning how to use tunerPro to get more timing, around 5°. But not sure how, and I dont want to explode this engine. Last log : https://datazap.me/u/cpt00/map-8-w-p...g=0&data=1-3-4 |

I use to have audis with turbo, but those ecu a locked, so you go to a shop and get a flash tune . No option, no adjustment. Now, N54 are wayyy more fun, you can do shit tons of stuff. Ill learn. So far if I dont have : ignition correction, a lean a/f at high load, knock, high air intake temps, HPFP and LPFP pressure low. I should be ok, by messing with stuff bit by bit. |
