Stock 255 Bridgestone RFT on 162 8.5" will work with no spacers - I've run this setup at barber without issues. The understeer is vastly improved over the staggered setup. Be advised, it's pretty close up front between the strut and rim - only approx 1/4" clearance.

Looking at the specs on Tirerack, the Bridgestone 255 RFT is more narrow than most other 255 tire profiles, so I'll keep running the rft until I'm ready for R-comps, at which point I'll head to 17's - they're alot lower cost, and you can get them used from the KONI series.

I have thought about that too, but keep in mind the stock tire/wheel (17x8.5 $ 255/40-17) is 60lbs. That is insanely heavy.

For that kind of weight, the price better be cheap!
