The only difference is the color between the 2. LUX 5.0 matches the OEM Xenon's perfectly, while LUX 4.0 is a bit cooler/bluer color. Its just your preference as to what you would like.

Did you get this resolved? I was going to order, but now I'm worried that I'll get a mismatched set.

Why would you want to pay $200 when you can buy like a $15 bulb...maybe even less than that, and get a good looking angel eye. (see gp thunder h8 7500k)

Yes, this did get resolved. Luckily it was nothing to worry about. This was just one little issue and out of a few hundred that were sold. So No worries!!!!!

LED's look 100% different then the gpthunder halogen bulbs. There is almost no comparing them honestly. Color and light output of LED's cant be matched.

Sorry, i'm not quite sure I understand what you are saying. Are you referring to the Coupe headlight setup? If so then I am still working on something

Oh ok Take a look here.http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=151144

This has the different bulb types. the e90 sedan uses a custom bulb while the e92 coupes use a standard H8 bulb.
