Hey Johnny, what % and type of tint did you get on your car? I'm also looking to get my 328i tinted and was hoping to get more info/help on any deals.

Thanks!

Hey, yea I would be more than happy to help you out. As WA State Law, you can go as dark as 24% now. But if you would like to take the risk, then Accutint will still do the work for you.

For my previous E90, I got 30% all around and looks awesome. But with my new E92, I did 25% all around in the back and 30% in the front. Didnt go all the way to 24%, b/c I am using the Pinnacle F1 tint. It only goes by 30% or lighter, 25% and 20% or darker. If you got the technology package (caz the comfort access), you will need to do the Pinnacle F1 tint. It cost more than the regular tint, but it would be better for you.

Accutint does offer a LIFE TIME Warranty for their tint with a multiple locations.

PM me if you need more help and info. Let me know once you make up your decision and talk to Accutint before you make an appointment with them And you are more than welcome to come check out my ride. It would be great if you can join us on the 08/23 M Car day, then you will be able to check out all the different percent tint on all different series.

Usually coupe cost more than the sedan. And it is impossible to get $200 tint for the Pinnacle F1 Tint in the local area. You might be talking about the Classic Flim Tint.

Oh I didn't know that. Why is that? I thought the less windows the easier the job?

And yeah, $200 for regular tint

But my Audi has something like Comfort Access so I guess I have to go with Pinnacle F1.

You are right with that buddy That is one of the reason. And 2nd, the space with coupe is smaller in the back, which makes the works more complicate.

Really?? Pinnacle Tint for $200, where did you go get it? That is an awesome deal. Life Time Warranty? Great Quality? Caz Accutint provides the best tint as far as I know and Life Time Warranty.

Oh no I meant $200 for generic tint, LOL!

I'll try and find out how much the Pinnacle is from this other guy.

Alrighty.. Johnny's referral came through and I scheduled an appointment for next weekend (b/c they're full forever)

$300 all around (no windshield) for Ceramic (Pinnacle) tint
$200 all around (no windshield) for Classic tint

Question: John (at Accutint) said both are Non-Metallic..so it won't affect GPS etc.
I DO have comfort access, nav, etc.. is the ceramic worthwhile?

Awesome, sounds good. My girl's dad's car just pulled in today for the tint too.

Yea, if you got the comfort access, Ceramic is the only way to go for your car. That is exaclty what I have and most ppl have too I used to have the Classic one on my previous E90 330i and I hate it. I got to stand so close to my car to lock and unlock the car everytime. Since I got the Ceramic on my M, problem solve

People who have had your E92 tinted, I was curious how your dotmatrix portion turned out? Did you guys use black vinyl over it, stop at dot matrix, glue or just tinted over?
