what are the types of neons i am looking for for this mod? also any tips on changing the rest of the car to white not just the cluster in the dash

Easy there paul walker...no neons here... I think you mean LED's. all you need are colored surface mount LED's

where did you source the LEDs ? can you give a model/part number and site? I'm assuming mouser or digikey sells them, but what parts did you use?

It looks like a 1210/3528 SMD chip. You'll have to get a handful to make sure the LED color matches one another as different batches made may have some color variations

SMD parts are usually pretty cheap, so you can probably buy a small reel of the leds and bin your own, unless you can find a supplier that already binned the parts based on temperature...which i highly doubt. you only need what, maybe 20 to do your entire interior (dash, steering wheel, etc) so depending on quantity discound could probably order a batch of 100 or so and bin them myself.

looks like digikey sells for around 15-18 cents each, thats only 10$ for 100.
