Background on my reflash:
I have an 11-2006 build E90 that was on original software (and HPFP!). I bought it in November 2008. I recently got a brake pad service indicator and took the car in. The SA said it needed a reprogram, and did not actually have worn pads. It was reporting 255% brake pad life (summarized in SIB 34 02 08).
Can someone help to figure out what to do next.
I order my break and sensor cable from Bavarian Autosport and get replaced them in my mechanic shop. After everything was installed, he connect computer to my BMW to reset service light and brake light.
Instead, computer show, that my car has 255% brake pad life and mechanic was not able to reset this. He made few attempt's, reboot his computer turn off and on my car - nothing help to reset this 255%.
I call Bavarian Autosport and they send me new sensor cable for FREE ( what a service), bit I get feeling this is not my sensor cable issue - it maybe his software.
Please, advice!

Car is '06 E90 330i (obviously out of warranty).
Thanks in advance.

Mine have been replaced, but the front not rear.

But I currently have mushy brakes and car almost got me into to accidents from this issue...

And fronts have to be changed soon too and I got it with 17,5k on Odom...

Well, the life span is depend on a lot of things. Like the driving habits and the brake rotor problem. Generally, the usage life of semi-metallic brake pad is about 30000 km. Some good manufacture could reach to 40000 km. And the ceramic brake pad is about 50000 km-80000 km.
