I was on a Porsche forum the other day and one owner was particularly livid about M3s. He said the E30 was the only "real" one and the rest were garbage. Mind you, he is a track junkie with the 997 GT3 as his toy So even Porsche fans have to agree that the E30 was a special car. I guess back then they were much truer to the "Ultimate Driving Machine" than they are now.

I totally agree with him. The E30 doesn't have all the useless safety bullshit that newer cars have today.

e30 m3 = streetable track car

every other m3 = trackable street car

big difference between the two.
