USC sends out late decisions. I know others who received theirs just last week. It's weird. I got my acceptance back in May, but my friend got hers just 2 days ago.

but congratulations, tommy. I guess that's where you'll be going?

USC is a good school, IMO better than UCLA. I've been at both institutions and saw first hand how different they are. UCLA is a good school, but they are heavily subsidized by tax dollars. I've seen them mismanage and waste a lot of it. If the tuition was the same, USC would rank way higher.

Alumni! Music Industry. USC is a very good school. I think it also depends on what you are planning on studying.

^I think that is true too, but from my experience USC has smaller classes and the faculty tend to be more accessible comapred to UCLA.

I got into USC for this fall as a transfer student from UCR. I had about 3.9 gpa when I applied for transfer and my final GPA was around 3.7 at the end of this year yea I got lazy. Applied as a business admin major for Marshall School of Business.

Hurray for $40,000 a year tuitions -_-

Yeah, I know the tuition is high at USC. But what most people don't realize is that a lot of students get pretty good aid from the school itself, so sometimes you don't pay full price. Did you get any financial aid? BTW, the business school at USC is one of the best in the country. I remember a while ago the WSJ ranked the MBA program #10.

I got 0$ in financial aid so it's gonna hurt the wallet big time but atleast I'm getting some aid from my parents so it's doable. yea I hear good things about the business school!
