Getting close now. The Wallenius Wilhelmsen website now says that my car has been "discharged" at Port of Charleston. Should be here in about a week!

I hope everyone else on the Patriot has as good as, or better, news!

right now, it is the most up to date of all the sources, which is weird. Says i am at the VPC.

Did the dealer tell you this?
B/C there is a "strong rumor" that the cars are being held at the VPC b/c of EPA issues that are expected to be resolved on 9/1.

Just got off the phone with my dealer. Turns out that my car was released to the carrier either yesterday or today and won't be to my dealer until the 31st or the 1st....

Well i would "assume" that it would be the same truck that my 335i is on, since SC then columbus then South Bend are logical stops for a truck.

But who knows.

If i can have my car on the 2nd i would be delighted.

my 325i was also on the patriot..Even though i am in indianapolis..since i got a very good deal, i took the car from a dealer at cincinnati.....i already paid the money and everything is done...i also bought the new IPOD interface...so its all done...just waiting for the car to arrive at the dealership.....
My dealer says that the vehicle should be here by the weekend..but when i call the 800 number it says that it is waiting for the port for a shipping vehicle...CRAP...
I'm just hoping i get the vehicle before the long weekend...

My CA told me today that my 325i was on the truck (and I assume, out of VPC) and that they had to have 18 vehicles on board before they could leave. He said they use two driver who take turns driving, then sleeping, so they could drive straight through. He thought it might be here in Texas on Friday or Saturday.

But, like many folks, I already have a trip planned for Friday afternoon through Monday. It will likely be Tuesday before I can take delivery.

Meanwhile, the OC website still says I'm "en route" and the 1-800 number says I'm "at the port awaiting a shipping vessel." Those tracking devices really fail you once you're on the ship and have left Germany.

I get the same update on the OC and 800 number...It's good to know at least it is on a truck!! Maybe mine is right there with yours!! Let's see they probably go through Houston to get to Austin so you will most likely get off the truck before me...

good news...my dealer called me in the afternoon nand told me that he is seeing my car unloading from the truck...i was thrilled..i told him to install all my accessories...and then keep it ready by friday..he said ok..so i will be getting my car by long weekend..

No such luck for me... I'm in Lubbock. You'll surely have yours first, and I doubt I can pick mine up until Tuesday anyway.

Congrats! If yours arrived in Indy already, I'm hoping mine is ready tomorrow. Didn't hear from the dealer today, but I got the sense they would call only once it's prepped.

Don't know why I thought you were in Houston...They have to loop through the state somehow, guess it depends on if they start up north or down south..
