Check this old jag out. The wood looks great and servers a purpose, so it works aesthetically.

Not a fan of the carbon fibre either, a material used for its lightness and stiffness, not to decorate the dash. It looks like black carpet with a clearcoat. Mmmnn lovely!

I have aliminium trim and black leather interior on the 330i and its the best of a bad bunch on the bimmers imho.

We are quite limited in our trim options on most cars. Trims are ripe for customisation - detachable bespoke trim cant be that hard to manufacture, or design. Swapsie potential is huge!

On the 330i with black leather, mines a a silver and dark blue paisley pattern covered with a clearcoat. Or perhaps a white leather effort, or mebbe a purple wallpaper indian takeaway stylee.
i thoguht i was the only one here that didnt like carbon fibre (thats why ive kept my mouth shut, mayeb i shud continually do so ) the exclusivity of it has worn off from all the fake vinyl wrap malarky around. however on the m3 and m6 roof it serves a purpose and isnt fake so however u cant knock the guy for buying REAL carbon trim to match his roof! each to their own as they say

Garage List
I agree that the "real" CF that J1220 has fitted looks great and i bet it looks fantastic in the flesh and really compliments the car etc. I personally would NEVER and will NEVER option or buy a car with any kind of wood trim, end of!!! The CF/Leather trim that some of us M3 owners have is probably the best trim "option" ive seen and again looks fantastic in the flesh and really suits the car.

Sorry boys. Individual Piano black trim is by far the best trim for the M3

that carbon fibre interior does look that little bit more special, very nice indeed. the best interior trim is definitely a toss up between yours and piano black as posted above! which i dont have either of

Right, as this seems to be becoming an all out war in what constitutes the best interior trim, here's my offering

For me, Sycamore was the only trim to go for once I'd settled on the extended Bamboo. Had I gone for a black leather interior, then yes, I would have considered the CF or Piano black trims...
