I have had the cowl off of my car for about 3 weeks now, and the one thing I have noticed, besides the louder engine noise, is that my vent runs really warm now. Seems the cowling does have a purpose for keeping the engine heat out of the vent air.

Hmmm...really...well I'm guessing they must've swapped it with one of their loaner cars then, because the cowl definitely didn't look new. I guess I'll never know since I no longer have that car.
