Congratulations R1200RT, you won't regret it

Yep seat heating is aftermarket, Leathershop installed it when they put the leather in. System has two settings and use it a lot in the winter.

Mark

The moddvirus is still going strong

Installed the M bumbers/skirts today

Not sure however what to do with the rear diffuser with my colour :

-Paint it shining black
-Wait for the Vorsteiner carbon diffuser to come out
-Wrap it in carbon
-Leave it the way it is

Suggestions ?????

Mark

Modweek.....

Yesterday M bumpers today Navigation

Yes I know it's a very small screen but I use navigation maybe 5 times a year so no worries. Screen is however very clear and knows were the set speed camera's are and warns me from them so that's what I need the most.

Greetings,

Mark

Ha ha car is always on 20 degrees...... but I almost never use the airco .... drive with the windows open to hear the performance exhaust even better

I got the Navi from my BMW dealership, it's a standard option in europe. They can still order is here. VDO doesn't exist anymore but disks are from Navteq so can always be renewed.

Mark

Haven't looked into all the angel eye options yet.......... new mod to investigate

Steering wheel is for all E90/91/92/93 +M3 as far as I know... Two versions, one with and one without paddles + have one now with the same suede sides but without the meters...... should be a lot cheaper to buy.

I paid about 2500 euro's for the M bumpers/skirts... including painting & putting them on. Met with the painter today because there is one bit the have to adjust...... He said sparkling graphite is one of the worst coulour to match. The measured it with a special machine before painting and did not use the colour code from the car. Glad they did because paint is spot on.

Ha ha yes jeans this time

Yes soni carbon is the way to go seeing your picture...... that must be the Cyba one right ?????. However I think it is nicer to combine it with some other carbon parts like mirrors, decals,M3 mirror on truktop and even better a painted Vorsteiner trunk with just the middle left open to show a carbon piece man will this car ever be ready.......

Greetings,

Mark

Hi Mark,

The M-bumpers and skirts look very good. Nice job!
Too bad I cannot have them because of ACC.

Leave the diffuser as it is. Don't make it black! Keep it stylish like it is now.

I you do want to do the diffuser: Go for the CF-one SONI fitted and leave it a bit greyish like his.
Avoid changing it into "Johnny Car" if that means anything to you!

PDJAFARI,
We are in that part of the world that measures temperature properly which is in degrees Celcius FTW!

SONI,
I like your bootlid-spoiler. Which one is that?
I have the impression that you have shadowline on your car, could you put up a side photo, so that we can see how that turns out?

Thanks R1200RT

I think soni has the M3 bootlid spoiler......... thinking srongly about mounting one in the same coulour as the car. I love the rear of Soni's car but for some reason I don't always like the mr bootlit spoiler so maybe this one is different !.

Gr,

Mark
