Like I said, I respect FAST. That car sounds like it was a very formidable opponent, and thats what im into.. Its the excuses that i hate, usually by the younger crowd i guess..

i bought the car initially for $1000 as a bare shell. then i had it painted, and everything redone from scratch, such as new energy suspension bushing kit to new steering rack to new suspension/drivetrain. it was $10k for everything including parts, shell, install and tuning because i installed all of the parts myself [except for the 4" exhaust which was built by BYT in LI] and built the motor and transmission myself. tuning was done by a close friend of mine for free and all i had to pay for was to rent the dyno at rct for $100/hr.

did your boy's civic ever run a black ae86 from queens?

2jz'd making way over enough power to put that car in the 9's....i remember he raced an eg when his ecu was acting weird and he missed 3rd a few years back giving to the civic by 1 car. + the civic was spraying my cousin with the ae86 then said lets go again and the civic declined

anyway that eg hatch is pretty nice but street racing is not safe at all and is stupid if you look at it...
driving fast a few times here and there for fun with your buddies on a highway that is usually empty isnt bad but when everybody meets up on a bumpy backstreet where they stop traffic for a mile or 2 gets ugly fast

i agree people always want to race who have the faster car but its still not a bmw..... yes u might have a fast honda but i have a bmw....which is fast enough and i bet i get more girls in it than u do in that honda haha

I know about Hondas too since I've owned 3 myself and know that this video was on Doremus Ave.

When it comes down to it, these turboed out Hondas are kids games though. This was cool 5-8 yrs ago... I'll be nice enough to give that time frame. But can you really take the noisy, bumpy, creaky honda over a sleek, comfortable, fast BMW?

You don't drag race everywhere you go so what's the point of having the best civic out there when you can only show it off to a few spectators and cops on weekends at 1AM?
