Quick question for all of you.
Nelphus has informed (very thankful by the way) that my ETA to the VPC is 10-22. My salesperson at BMW said today in an e-mail 10-19. Which is right? I think I trust this website more!

alright I"m working on a large response post - be up shortly, sorry for the delay but I'm exhausted...

quick response to Doc325i --- the info I give you at the time I post it is THE most accurate info you can get aside from physically being with the car... the locator system is the same that your dealer uses to send you the email etc. I'm thinking the discrepancy in days could either be from change in ship schedule (the Hojins ETA changed by 4 days overnight) or the date he emailed you referred to ETA into PORT - this is different from VPC since it takes some time (several days) to get off the boat to the VPC.

NOTE: if I give you total color/combo info for your car (you have 1 of 5 SG/Coral in FL for example) that is for all cars with that exterior and interior ONLY, regardless of other options - I always first search color combo and state, and then I use options to localize which car is yours; if I dont give you that extra 1 of _ info, I'm sorry but the search just didnt yield the necessary info to give ya.... if only I didnt have a job and life outside of status reporting, haha

Rainy - thank you for posting vs. the PM, as I mentioned earlier I will no longer be responding to PM requests for status updates
you have 1 of 6 color combos in Texas and you are status 112, scheduled for production w/ no production date visible to me at this time (does not mean you dont have one). Looks like 3 of those other cars are in League City and Dallas, and they are all 112

SflGator - you have 1 of 8 color combos in Florida - your car is status 112 = scheduled for production, again I cannot tell your production date at this time....check back in several days and hopefully yours will start soon

BobNaz - you have 1 of 2 color combo 335's (the other is arriving at VPC today and then to Chapman as well-arrgghh) yours is in transit to VPC ETA 10/27 ... congrats

Tommithy - Your car is status 150, finished proudctoin on 10/6 awaiting shipment

Another note for you guys -- I suggest you check back for another update 2-4 days before your ETA to VPC because these times tend to change by a day or so when they get close to Port (mine sped up by 5 days!)

jayz4 - in transit to VPC ETA 10/12 - almost there

xMSMx - 1 of 23 328 e92s with your exact interior/exterior combo in CA,
Status is in transit to VPC ETA 10/12 (you're on the boat with jayz4!)

brndnh10 - 1 of 4 with your color combo... your car arrived at the VPC on 10/8 so your status is at vehicle prep center - congrats (eventual delivery to kinston)

REGARDING AERO-KIT --- if you talk to the right people adn your dealer puts in a little effort he should be able to order the aero kit. I can tell you that my dealer has two sitting in a box, unpainted on his lot right now (both sold to me of course

). I have not seen any on myself, but I should have mine on and painted by monday *hopefully* - yes, of course I will post pictures immediately. P.S. - I'm a little worried about the body shop putting on the aero kit on the e92 for the first time on my car!!!!! -- we'll see

Interesting... I need to talk to my dealer again. They originally thought they were available then when they arrived they were the e90 pieces not the e92. I will have to push them some more. Do you know if they are available for port install yet?

Hi Nelphus,

Thanks for the info. I called 800 # this morning and they told me that car has been shipped and once its on port of exit, they cannot see the status. So,I called my dealer to find out the ship info, but they say they cannot track it anymore.
Would appreciate if you could help pls?

Mine is 328i sedan (E90) Monaco Blue with Beige Dakota, burl walnut with Auto, Nav, PP, PDC, CA, Xenon and Rear shade. Would appreciate if you could let me know the status.

I'm in Bay area, CA.
