Ohh, Damn. That's my fault. Everything is all good then.

I'm gonna go get the 10-9 installed.

So from using 11-2, 9-09 and 10-9. I believe the 10-9 are the best since using the Procede.
11-02 - Good but Strong Power on High Speed without any code lights. (Worked Perfectly but wish I had more power at everyday driving in low speeds)
9-09 - Strong but "Reduce Power Engine Malfunction" light after 6500rpm
10-9 - Strongest on low and high speeds. The only thing is that after 135 mph I get the "Reduce Power Engine Malfunction". It wasn't near redline so I don't know why I keep getting the engine Malfunction?
I used Stage 1 and Map 1 for each one without any modification to the settings.

Can I get the power of the 10-9 with the consistency of the 11-02?

Were you using the 10-9 6AT specific stage 1 maps or the 6MT-6AT maps?
The 6AT maps taper off the boost more at high rpm's and should have less issues with limps, codes, etc.

I'm using the 10-9 6AT Stage 1 Map 1. I have an automatic.

No problems so far with the 10-9 stage 1 6MT-6AT maps but I've never gone over 120mph. Defaults changed to UT 77.5% (for max 15 PSI), Throttle Response 4, Lag Fix 0.

I will try changing the defaults to those to see if they work for me. Why did you use the 6MT as you have an AT? I thought the Lag fix was better to leave on as it makes the turbo more responsive?

The first 10-9 maps were not transmission specific. The 6AT maps came out shortly after with more boost tapering at high rpm's before the shift points. My AT car seems okay with the original maps. I don't notice much lag and as some have complained of more wastegate noise, I leave it off.

LIMP MODE! LIMP MODE! LIMP MODE!
Running the 10-9 on 2nd gear to high rpm I get "Reduce Power Engine Malfunction". Now is not like before. The car starts shaking like it wants to shut off. WHAT THE HELL DO I DO?

Using Map 1
"Debug Word 8 is 204"
"Can DME Codes is 10706"
What do I do from here?

I have 22,354 miles on it. Have the car for 2 yrs now. I run Shell or Exxon 93 at all times.
I haven't run the 6MT as my car is a 6 speed auto. I always use Stage 1 Map 1 6AT. The 11-2 at low and high rpm haven't given me any codes thus far.
9-09 gave me code at high rpm on 3rd gear. I find 10-9 to be the strongest from all three but gives me 10706 only when I hit the throttle all the way to floor and put rpm over 6600 on 2nd or 3rd gear. i still haven't got any codes using 11-2, but doesn't feel powerful enough to justify me having this tune.
Should I change firmware to 141 when going to 10-9 and then back to 145 when using 11-2?

Has anybody gotten this problem fix without having to change plugs, etc?

It's a lease. You think the dealer can do it?

I mean you need to probably take out the Procede if you do bring it in, but first try uploading the correct firmware and then go out and see if it happens..

I'm putting in the 141 and testing the 10-9 again. Hit you up in a bit to see what happens.

Thanks

Plugs may fix it but I had the same issues and it never solved it for me and I swapped 3 sets! I bought a jb3 and could run map 9 on race and no issues on the same hardware. I finally got my dme progman updated to the latest so will test the procede tomorrow again as I've given a week for the new update to adapt for a base stock setting. I have a theory and will test tomorrow.

HOLY SHIT. This thing is super fast and keeps going with no Lime mode after 6700rpm.
The issue I had was using the 145 firmware with the 10-9 maps. No wonder I didn't have any issue wit the 11-2 with the 145. I had issue with 9-09 and 10-9 using the 145 firmware. I uploaded the 141 firmware and I got dme code 11379 & 11380. So I then cleared it and went on testing. I did runs to 6800rpm on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear. No FU**ing problems (NO CAN DME CODES). WOW, I feel so good now.
Listen up EVERYONE, DON'T USE FIRMWARE THAT DOESN'T BELONG TO THE MAPS NO MATTER IF THEY ARE NEVER THAN MAPS. WOW, this thing feels great.
One thing I can say is that using the 145 firmware with the 10-9 maps, car spooled up faster to higher rpm and feels a tad bit faster in 1st and 2nd gear. But if you take it over 6700 rpm, it'll give you the 10706 code.
Now I have no problems, Thanks to cn555ic & Nick.CBR with keeping me posted on these issue I was having. I can't stress to spread the word. No need to replace plugs, coils, nor gas. Simple testing and getting answers from this board solved the problem.

Thanks

Thanks Big Tom. You did tell me the 10-9 was the strongest, but never thought of changing the firmware. Always thought the new firmware was back-ward compatible with older Maps.

Can Anyone explain what Firmware entitles and what Maps are made up of?
Does Shiv explains each firmware change in each revision?
Does Shiv explain each Map revision as well, and if so what website?

The more I learn about Firmware and Maps and how it works, the more I can understand this tune. Then I can understand why each different firmware and maps could be incompatible with each other.
Thanks
