Serious note: you need to get the polarity of those capacitors correct or they will literally blow up ...
Nice job, could be usefull for the fog in San Francisco !

Nice pics. Samething I did a year ago (only my cap is smaller in size - 25V spec instead) and it's still working fine to this day with zero errors. Pretty cool looking when you leave your lights on Auto and you unlock your car via the remote. BTW, are you using the 35W or 55W kit? I'm using the 35W kit (I tried the 55W kit and it worked, but the light was crazy bright and all over the place, overpowering the headlights).
One thing to mention is the cap will get really hot so make sure when you install everything to keep the cap exposed and not against any plastic parts or it will melt. For the leads, I just bend cap wires parallel with the HID wires and used heat shrink to cover everything, then more heat shrink up to the cap and barely going over it to cover the exposed ends from the weather (rain, etc). |

No pics as of yet but easily explained..... I attatched the ballast to the side of the brake ducts that come through the fenderwell liner. THey are at the same level as the housing for foglight so there is no pulling on wires and everything has its own space and not mashed up against anything else. You can use double sided sticky tape or the cradle supplied with the kit.

I've done this already with caps. The caps blew after a couple of miles of driving. I've replaced the caps more than I replace light bulbs. Your best bet is to use a relay setup when using non-55w HID kits.
Or you can go straight and pay extra 40$ for the true 55w HID kits that are direct plug-and-play without erroring at all. |

Do you have the exact part number? I'll try the caps again on a cheaper hid kit.

I've bought plenty of DDM products for my E46 and they've been great, no problems whatsoever. I dealt with customer service once a while back and they were great as well.
