you are entitled to your opinion, however we dont supply 10 foot harnesses, we supply a harness that is about 10 inches in length. any meth injection device on the market that integrates a fuse is done in the same fashion as ours.

We do our best to make sure the customer has the best product possible. As pointed out, currently the plan is to not integrate the fuse and give it to the customer seperate, we will see. I will be glad to indicate to put it as close to the power source, thats a fine idea.

In a seperate note, if you would look at the diagram, we have addressed your issue. The system is supposed to be installed to a fuse #5 in the fuse block, so your concerns are not valid unless the customer deviates from our diagram.

Perhaps the photo showing fuse #5 is for a 135i and it is not exactly the same in 335i? I did see the note and picture but it is not the same in my 335i. There is also a fuse diagram on the fuse box cover, which doesnt match the fuse layout in my car. Strange...ConFused so to say :-)

OK, here it is http://i407.photobucket.com/albums/p...h/FILE0205.jpg

I did a special solution since I was not able to locate fuse #5 securely, nor have any tap for the small fuse holder. I did a quick and dirty but safe solution as you see by tapping unfused power under a large ignition swithed fuse, and put a new fuse on the cable to CMGS.

its been the idea for 3 months to eliminate the fuse and just give to the customer. this because some customers cut it off anyway as it makes it easier to install

Either way love the neatness of the install!

Hey Coolingmist, Please PM me shipping to Singapore and also, I have a few questions regarding how your system would hold up in hotter weather in Singapore?

Cheers!

For flow mapping some of the various tunes here are diagrams.

For JB3 2.0 owners that want to do auto flow based map switching

For procede that does progressive flow mapping:

We have diagrams for Rev 1 as well.

the VC2/CMGS must be configured based on the tune you are using but the diagram is the same.

Any questions about the product or how it can help you let us know.

How does this gauge work with an existing boost gauge in place? I have a rix digital gauge installed on the diverter valves..

I would assume you can do use both, just make a T to both Rix gauge and CM gauge

if you like your current boost gauge, you can change the settings so it displays pump dutycycle or you can run them both with boost. CMGS is very flexible. Here is a video that shows you how to change the display from boost to dutycycle with just a few button sequences.

The Coolingmist system was tested today (first time) with V3 and map 10-9 st 3. UT 95%. The system operates perfectly and I'm very pleased with the CM product. The CMGS is a pearl.

Power according to Racelogic is 393 whp (293 kW) and the time from 100-150 km/h took 3.1 seconds. Without meth and on 85% UT this takes more than 4 seconds.

Wow congrats on FINALLY testing it out! I see that your going the NOS route...your car is going to be a rocket! What kit did you go with and will this also work with the coolingmist system gauge...see if thats possible

Thanks, yes it has been a long wait due to the damn snow. I stole two bags of sand for the kitten box to make it possible to get out on the road from the garage but the main road was completely dry.

I have got a NOS kit now, but not decided yet in detail how to implement it. It will just be some basic solution with a progressive controller, WOT switch and rpm-window.

If you have not found your NOS controller yet, you may be interested in our smart controller. Its a very detailed (read...not for new bees) controller that can integrate your nitrous and water injection. Infact, you can even create an 8 X 8 Grid and inject (meth injection) based on as much as 3 inputs using the grid and the CMGS mapping. Probably more detailed than you need, but it has 2 RPM counter inputs (rpm, flow, etc), 4 0-5 V inputs, 1 millivolt inputs, a programmable 0-5V output (8 X 8 Grid), a 5 volt output and 5 digital ground outputs that can be programmed. Oh yea it has 3 virtual outputs that can be used for conditional programming. You can have it turn on at times when the WI is on or within different singal conditions. You can integrate upto 9 conditions for each output.

I went a little overboard when designing the smart controller, LOL.

The system can be used to send the programmed 0-5V to the CMGS (RPM/BOOST, TPS, whatever) and the output can turn the nos on/off.

It is a used NOS Powershot dry kit. I think they are max 125 hp or so but this is good since the components are small and it is more than enough for the 335, which will use a 35 shot or so. It came with a 10 lbs bottle and all stuff is in good shape.
