It will be nice to see your VBox Logs.
A couple of months ago when I ran at Famoso, I also ran the Vbox. The ETs were right on. Sometimes the track was a little quicker, as the Vbox tends to round up. The MPH should be about 1mph fast on the Vbox if I am correct. Let me know if that is what you found also. Perhaps Famoso is a little slow? We really need someone at MIR, or other tracks to get us some Vbox/Time slip comparisons too!

You can see by my time slip, 12.049 @ 118.59mph vs 12.0 @ 119.5 mph on the Vbox. (before the downpipes, lightweight battery, and 17" front wheels)

It's funny too how the first time I hit 11s, I hit 11.80!
The DA was about 1500 ft.
Great job Craig, very impressive!

Even though over here in Europe there's not so much 1/4 mile racing going on (I tend to believe it's a US thing), I can really appreciate what you did after having been on the forums here for some time.

Great mods too! Makes me look forward to the install of my Quaife LSD in a few weeks as well as the Snow Performance meth kit.

Again, congrats!

You aren't. I was the same way. I thought that was a customer also until i read the thread on it.

Shiv was driving that car that day and tuning it in between runs and there was a thread about that whole thing. Not that it takes away from the run because that time is still great, but the point is...that car should have the driver as "Shiv" instead of ballaj.
There is a place that asks for the driver on the drag times web site and it clearly states ballaj when it should say Shiv.

It would be like me saying that I ran this time and we come to find out that Andrew and Austin were there tuning my car in between each run and then having Ashley Force drive my car.

Damn, lately it seems I can only dream of getting a 1.70 60ft! It is so damn discouraging going to the track with nothing but traction problems. It seems a LSD is the way to go for consistancy and great 60' times. And I'm sure track prep played a good part of it too.

By the way, how long have you had your LSD ?

I just got done testing tonight. 11.99-12.00 ETs @ 122.3 with a crappy 2.1 60' time. Even if I could get a 1.9 60' time I would be below 11.80, but easier said than done. A few wks ago I was regularly doing 11.90's at over 123mph in my regular every day driving set up (91 oct/meth, Nittos). Still trying to figure out where I lost the speed.

What is interesting is you would think with my 2.1 60' time it is just a horrible up in smoke wheel spin launch. It isn't, its just a soft 2nd gear launch, giving it full throttle at maybe 40mph or so. Still good for a 3.9 sec 0-60mph, which is by no means slow. Just goes to show you how incredibly quick a car must launch 0-60 with the 60' times Mr. 5 is attaining.
Hotrod,

I see you have a GN. Back in the day I had a T-Type that ran low 11's. Probably the best launching car I ever owned. It consistently put down 60' times in the low 1.6 range and at times would yank the front tire and lay down a high 1.5. Those were the days!

Yup, last time I was at the track a guy had a GN, only was trapping around 114mph, but he was doing mid 11's. I think meth would do my GN wonders. Even a can of 104+ raises the HP noticeably.
