How many cars are you expecting at the event now Tim? Already got the "showcase" cars lined up?

We no longer have a limit for the showcased cars. They have opened up all of the grass to us. If you have a HEAVILY modded car, I would be more than happy to put it up in the grass......

I am GUESSING and I say guessing because I honestly don't know, 100-150. If the weather is bad, 30. LOL. Who knows. It is a first year event. If it is a big turn out, next year will be twice as big.

No matter what, it will be awesome to hang out with people who share the same passion as I do when it comes to cars. Then hang out in the evening sharing some brews......

That's cool... I hope it'll be over a hundred! I don't consider my car heavily modded compared to the what those crazy west coasters do.

What would you consider HEAVILY modded out of curiosity?

Along the same lines... it would be pretty cool to do what the guys down in Cincy did for their Fall meet. Have some sort of paper that people can fill out describing all their mods, etc and put it on their windshield. Just an idea...

Anyways, I agree... should be a lot of fun regardless of how many people end up coming!

Pretty much nothing that could be confused with stock.

Wheels + drop + body work + engine mods + any custom work = heavily modded.

Supercharged or turbo charged DOES equal heavily modded.

Wheels only does not equal heavily modded.

Exhaust and intake only does not equal heavily modded.

Stock wheels on a dropped car does not equal heavily modded.

Basically simple bolt on stuff is not a heavily modded car.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!

The Dave and Buster's in Polaris called today. They would rather us hold our "pre-game" dinner on Friday May 21st at 7pm at the Hilliard location rather than the Polaris location. They said with the number of people we are expecting (20-50) it would be better for parking and for our dinning/gathering enjoyment. The Hilliard location is substantially larger than the Polaris location.

A bunch of us are leaving from naperville/plainfield to roll out on friday morning. If anyone is interested in joining the caravan feel free. We are also going to try and meet up with some of the other groups as well in route.

There is a group from Cinci coming up. On the M5board.com, members hdhntr23 and btmlinedan are both from Cinci. There are 3 or 4 other M5board members caravanning up with them.....

I would suggest joining up and post up in the thread that you want to get in on the caravan. Hdhntr23 is one of my best friends, very cool guy, he will be at every event during the weekend.
