DIY: Black Lower Grills! (INTERCOOLER OVERSPRAY FIX!!)

Did this over the weekend. took 45 mins the most...and that was mostly spent on taping up the car. Great DIY. Looks nice.

What about for sedans, there's a protruding silver horizontal thing across the middle of the grilles... did you guys paint that?

anyone? I've only seen pictures on coupes, and they don't have the silver horizontal bar across the lower grille.. I will likely paint mine, I'm just curious what everyone else did..

I believe yours is a 2011 coupe, that's why it has a horizontal strip across the lower grills. the OP's and everyone here's are 2007-2010 coupes, that's why we don't have that horizontal strip.

I have a sedan, that's why I have the horizontal bar. I've decided I'll just paint the horizontal bar black as well.

the pull out method can be as effective as a condom if done correctly.
