17 year olds can't get a license here in Sweden, wonder why.
Granted, a 17 year old could be good on a track. I even had trouble passing a kid of 14 on track, in formula 2000 cars, which goes to show that he'll probably smoke me good when he's 17. That kid could drive, but traffic skills and driving skills are two separate things. Experience is king, when it comes to, almost everything. |

Made mine too, the US should institute a grammar test as well as a driving tese to get your license.

I'm only 24 and am fully aware of how retarded I was at 17. The hostility showed towards the OP is just ridiculous...

Im 17, and i know for a fact I am a better driver than almost all of the adults that I have driven with, except for my dad and my uncle....so age means nothing when it comes to driving

Your brother is basically looking up to you because I am sure he has seen you drive the car alittle more aggressive at times when he was with you while you felt the urge to do some spirited driving...He is thinking how cool your car is and the fact that hes was driving it, he wanted to imitate you! If anything thats the only thing a little brother would look up to you especially if you have a nice car, that he is probably drooling over!! I am sure almost losing control of the car scared the shit out of him, he will realize that your car is not a joke when it comes to power.

I think the 335 offers high quality safety features that will benefit the young drivers who will inevitably crash it.
Also, we need to ban old people from the 335 too. Unacceptable. ![]() |

If you're <20 and you are saying you KNOW you're a better driver, odds are you aren't.

When I was 15 me and my cousin used to steal/joy-ride in the NYC Sanitation trucks (house hold collection trucks, water trucks, front end loaders). When I got my permit at 16 I used to drive my moms 944 Porsche like a D-Bag because I thought I was cool going to School/the park in it. Then when I got my liscense at 18 I bought an Audi A4, my best friend also used to let me drive his Lexus Jeep (LX420?) and his Mercedes E420, and his Infiniti Q45, AND his Mercedes CLK430 AMG, and his Mercedes S600 (he's rich in case u haven't figured that out yet) he currently has a 2008 BMW 750iL). anyway since then i then had a Scion tC at age 23, then a Mercedes C300 I bought Last year (I'm 28 now). Never had an accident driving any of those vehicles (except a dick last year sideswiped my C300). And now that I'm older, with age comes experience. I drove more like a raging ballsack between the ages of 17-21. I adapt easily to driving anything. But I do have a lot of experience in A LOT of different cars (some cars I haven't even listed). But I know for a fact when I was younger, I drove more wreckless. And I have A LOT of driving under my belt. It's just something kids don't realize now because they are still kids... Give them 10 more years and they will look back like I have and realize how bad they actually did drive...
Edit: and I CURRENTLY drive a 335i e92 XDrive... Responsibly... |

Most of the 16-20 year old kids are a-holes, big time ones. This is just how it is.

Driving at 17 - well, I made it to 18, and beyond...
Had a couple of fender scrapes - never with another car and no one was injured - thankfully. I can clearly recall that a kid in High School flipped some other kid's dad's porsche. There was a bet involved.
