well I have literally 5 meters between each light in HK, so redlining the car would not happen very often; but from my experience with the C230 in the old days, I can just kick it down a gear to get some power.

What do you mean though... that the car seems to break into pieces? The chassis should be the same regardless of the engine size (and it's an easy fix if I put on roll-bars) but why would I need to do that for a 200hp car?

There's a big difference between top speed and power. I'll probably never hit the top speed in my 335, but I'll definitely use the peak horsepower on a daily basis.

There's one place in particular that I'll use it almost commute - westbound on the 407, starting at the traffic light at Brock. It's basically a dragstrip, unless there's a dense crowd of SUVs in front of you. Zero to 140 - woohoo!

I also find myself kicking it down a couple gears every time I has an excuse, taking it close to the red just for the fun of it. Brand new car, though, so I may get tired of doing that (ya - right!).
