As for the purge in the front I wanted it up top. More of a taste
preference.

I understand using it safely, and I'm sure it feels great, it will just never be in my car. my comment wasn't directed at you, it was for former since he specifically referenced me. I'd much rather have my semi-upgraded turbos than run nitrous any day. I don't even want meth, but it's more of a necessity in the summer months to keep things consistent.

everyone has different goals! I'm sure your car is going to be insane like formers

^ i don't think he was trying to "call" you out..just making a valid comparison in reference to your car.

I know it wasn't directed towards me! I was just stating the fact that for some people like myself that have the addicting mod bug, just because I have it installed doesn't mean it will be used daily, so in comparison as far as safety it will be pretty safe being that I probably will use it maybe a couple of times in a year!!...As for the meth, you need it for sure because it is night a day difference in the summer, I am not KIDDING

Looks good cn555ic. I will be going with a NX 5lb bottle myself. I don't know whats wrong with me I change mods so much its not even funny lol. Nitrous is alot of fun, when it hits you feels in your pants. As soon as 3k hits and it sprays the car just rockets away. Be ready for it because the first time I hit it, the tires lit up and I almost lost control of it. It treated me like its bitch, and I loved it. I seldomly use it, only when i'm sending logs to Terry or just trying something new or when I go to the track. Its pretty much useless on street tires on the track. I have to lock out 2 gears just to get a clean run in. If I spray it in less than anything other than the top of 3rd(end of the 1/4 mile) the tires lite up and you have to get out of it or eat the guard rail lol.

Made a control panel plate for my meth and nitrous system...Thanks FBIS! Used 1500 grade genuine leather......soft as baby's ass!!

From left to right....Meth on/off switch, purge, nitrous on/off, bottle heater and space for whatever comes in the future!

Blue is methanol injection and the other 3 red switches are nitrous related..

Next button added, is going to be an passenger EJECT button for my wife like the James Bond movies (always bitching at my car!!)

Nice. Did you have to cut out some of the hard plastic behind there to deal with the depth of the switches?

No need to cut anything underneath...Basically this panel plate is sitting on TOP of what use to be there from the factory which was a rubber tray recessed into that hole...The depth of that rubber tray alone was about 1 inch plus there is also another inch before that hard plastic underneath, so by eliminating it, you gain 1 inch for the switch and wires!
Basically you take that rubber tray and trace the top of it and cut it out and wrap it...

Very cool. I have my one meth switch at the front along with a small LED for meth low-level indicator, where there is a cutout in the hard plastic. Still using the stock rubber tray. I think they are about $7.

Yeah I originally had my meth switch there and tried to install the 3 other switches and realized the hard plastic was preventing the rubber tray from fitting due to the height....I was pissed off because it took me some time to have all the switches installed on the tray to find out it wasn't working unless I start hacking the shit out of the hard plastic! Well that wasn't happening, so I used FBIS DIY on the switch plate and used genuine leather instead of the CF which I am not a fan of that look!

Next up wiring the purge wires and the bottle heater wires to the switch panel...stay tuned

Filled my 5lb bottle today for 24 bucks plus tax( cant believe they charged me tax)
It was 4.79 a pound! AMbient temps were around 50 degrees and when he brought the bottle back the pressure was like only at 700 psi and I was like what the hell, fill the bottle!! lol ....Then I realized the bottle was ice cold!! Tech told me he weighed the bottle and it was 12 pounds...Took it home and used a blow dryer for a minute or two and the psi shot up to 1000 psi...Going to try to see if I have any leaks and also try out my purge to see how it works and if i like the positioning of it!

I believe close to 90F should give you 1000 psi on a full bottle.

Correction Scott...I just hooked up the wires to the purge button and indeed you need to cut some of that hard plastic underneath near the front...Sorry for the wrong info! Purge button wired up and going to test it out...Next step the bottle heater So many freakin wires

Just finished up installing the bottle heater...What a PITA to run all those wires and make it look neat!
Also another PITA was finding a switched power source from the fuse box that I haven't already used already for the other two switches!! Take some pics of the install and video of my purge tomorrow if I get a chance....At this point I have EVERYTHING installed and now the wait begins on Shiv....I know I can have it working with an RPM, TPS, WOT controllers and switches, but at this point why spend more money when the Procede can control it, but even better!!! Have to wait till a couple of weeks now when SHiv gets back from vacation...He stated the wiring will be given and documented when he gets back....I hope its soon because I want to try out this already!

Nice progress! I have a feeling it is going to be hard for you to wait. I'm already thinking about my next mod (BMW Performance Suspension).
